Baby Belly

Tonight Jill is experiencing early labor contractions so we decided to take a walk around the neighborhood to stretch out and let gravity do its thing. We brought a camera along to take some pictures of big bellied Jill. The one above is our favorite.

We're now in the final stretch of Baby Watch 2006. In an effort to do everything that will be much more difficult with an infant in tow, we joined some good UCLA friends for a pub crawl through Santa Monica a couple weekends ago. Jill resisted the temptation to drink, but she enjoyed holding a nice cold bottle of Fat Tire next to her own tire.

The biggest news of late is that we recently went public with our baby's name after much hounding from the paparazzi.

A recent article in US Weekly summmed it up nicely, "Jill and Peter, or Jilter, have decided to name their first born Miles Molina Allen. According to an unnamed source close to the SoCal Allens, his first name heralds the rebirth of the cool and his middle name lends itself to his street cred as a bona fide Latino as it represents Jill's mother's maiden name and one of the largest clans in Medellin, Colombia."

This past weekend we joined 92,000 of our closest friends at the LA Coliseum for the Cal-USC game. We arrived about four hours before kickoff to tailgate with Jill's sister Leslie and her new husband Lee.

For those of you who no longer follow calendars, it is important to note that it is November and we still needed sunscreen on an 80 degree day. Also, it is almost Christmas so Lee and Peter decided to shoot their holiday card in front of the Coliseum this year. Don't they make a smashing couple?

Not to be outdone, Jill posed for a picture with Peter in the hope of causing a rift in the Peter and Lee man sandwich.

At the game, Jill and Peter sat next to Cal star running back Marshawn Lynch's momma, which made for interesting conversation and some good laughs. The picture below is from the first half when Cal was leading 9-6.

We assume Cal won the game, but we have no recollection of the second half.
